These safari photos were taken at the Mosi-oa-tunya National Park in Zambia, and the Hwange and Mana Pools National Parks in Zimbabwe in August 2005.  Additional photos were taken in the Franschhoek winelands outside Capetown. 

This safari was designed to be a bit of a walk on the wild-side – canoeing 60km along the Hippo and Croc-infested Zambezi River, tracking Lions on foot and viewing Elephants from only feet away, often with just grass or shallow water between us and them, thereby providing us with some unique photo opportunities.
